Project Details:
- A Public Works Project
- First approval by the North Carolina D.O.T. to use Self-Consolidating Concrete in manufactured precast concrete elements
- 39 precast split-box culverts with wing and parapet walls at a span of 12' delivered in a 3 week time period
- Axim developed an SCC "Fast Track" solution where Oldcastle Precast would conduct triple pours in an 18-hour period with two crews.

Lowe's Regional Distribution Center:
Lowe's Home Centers Inc. planned to build a new 1,582,113 square-foot distribution center that would service the northeast region of the U.S. on 131 acres in the CenterPoint Commerce and Trade Park in Pittston, PA. The huge open floor plan called for a 10-inch concrete slab. The engineers and architects were concerned about dying shrinkage of the concrete and turn to AXIM and ESSROC for solutions.
