AXIM launches CATEXOL HYDROSENSE® Multi-Range Water Reducer

Axim Italcementi Group has launched CATEXOL HYDROSENSE® a new polycarboxylate based, multi-range water reducer.

CATEXOL HYDROSENSE is a next generation multi-range water reducer based on proprietary polycarboxylate technology. Depending on the dosage rate, it is designed to provide normal- to medium-range water reduction, while providing excellent flowability during placement without affecting initial setting time. CATEXOL HYDROSENSE is designed to reduce the set time of mixes containing slag and/or fly ash allowing for the design of cost efficient mixes for horizontal and vertical applications.  CATEXOL HYDROSENSE meets the requirements of an ASTM C 494 Type A admixture.

CATEXOL HYDROSENSE provides a linear dose response to offer normal- and mid-range water reduction and maintains the level of workability for longer periods of time versus conventional water reducers. It dramatically improved finishing characteristics for flatwork and is more efficient in the pumping of concrete with pump pressures reduced as much as 50 percent.
